Its a great comeback from Naga Chaitanya with "Dochay", after a successful hit with "Oka Laila Kosam", Chai has done a great job indeed with "Dochay". Kriti Sanon -lead actress in the movie "Dochay" Which is her second movie in Tollywood after a Bollywood debut with "Heropanthi". Director Sudheer Varma of Swamy Ra Ra fame is back in action with "Dochay" as an action Thriller, the movie has created lots of hype and anxiety among fans, they have been waiting for this, from a long time. Anyhow after much post-ponments "Dochay" has been released, lets see Will this be the upliftment of Chaitanya/Kriti Sanon career, Will the Action Thriller tag match with Dochay?
Story:
The screen opens up with two crooks Raghu and Bharath sharing an amount of 25 crores among themeselves and then the bell rings, and we are directed to Present story.
Present Story: Chandu (Chai) is an expert mechanic, whose father Rao Ramesh a honest cab driver gets arrested due to some sort of robbery case, though he hasnt committed it, but has been put in jail. Chai becomes helpless and has many responsibilities mounted on his shoulders, so he becomes a Con artist (a swindler who exploits the confidence of his victim) inorder to earn some extra money so that he could make his Sister a successful doctor and prove his father as an honest person and bring him out of prison. One day he meets Personal Assistant of Home Minister, who shows him a way to get large amount of money, but with an agreement of paying him back of 2 crores, Chandu agrees for it, and then Personal Assistant leads him to the plan.Meanwhile Manikyam (Posani Murali Krishna) who is a powerful Don in the city, plans a bank robbery with his gang members, but the money which Manikyam gang stole comes to Chandu gang hands without their knowledge, that's when Chandu targets Manikyam for an Ultimate revenge for the sin he has done to Chandu, Chandu becomes aggressive on Manikyam, and their he goes with the help of Meera(Kriti Sanon) and Bullet Babu(Brahmanandam) with an ultimate plan to clean out Richard(Ravi Babu), and plans to pay Manikyam with an ultimate revenge. This Scam is too big and too unbelievable, Chandu gets himself in trouble many times but manages to keep himself away from the police,
Did Chandu accomplish his task? Does he manage with his responsibilities over him? What has Manikyam's hand in his Chandu's Life? forms rest of the story.
Technicians:
- Sudheer Varma has handled the movie with the best screenplay and direction he always gives, however he doesnt stop showing hero as Con(Cheater) as he did with Nikhil in the movie of Swamy Ra Ra, Chaitanya is also represented as a Con artist.
- Dialouges are fabulous and have a great and fantastic meaning in depth.
- Music by Sunny M.R is a flop, though has given a good background music, but couldn't establish his mark on the film with his music.
- Richard Prasad's cinematography is ultimate, few scenes couldn't be edited as much as he did.
Positives:
- Chaitanya has done his character very well. improved himself far better and looked dashing on the screen with his cool Dancing and fighting moves.
- Kriti Sanon cute looks and gorgeous expressions, well wait gorgeous looks and cute expression were hilarious, and believe me Chai and Kriti can entertain us a lot with their fab screen share.
- Saptagiri Comedy is reached peaks.
- Comedy has been put in line and worked out very well.
- Posani Murali Krishna has done his negative role far better.
- Though Rao Ramesh has limited role in the film, he has done his part well.
- Comedy and action scenes sizzled audience in Second half.
Negatives:
- Lagging first Half.
- Music didnt play a good role in the film.
- Few unrealistic scenes, happened to be the most unbelievable scenes.
Analysis:
Dohchay is a decent film with some good comedy scenes, chasing scenes and few unrealistic scenes, however movie has Engaged people and it was ain't boring, Entertainment has at its best level.
Hence the tag Dhochay as a Thriller movie matches. Could say successful movies of Chaitanya's career.
