Android M releasing in Q3 of 2015.
Well Did you experience Android Lollipop?Lollipop has been given as an Update to many Android Devices, however few find it great and few find as a bug shit. Its been just few months from its release and a new Android OS is already from Google.
So Android M developer preview was recently launched at Google I/O 2015 in San Francisco. Google's Sundar Pichai(VP of Google.inc) said "the company has gone to its basics" with the new Android M, Lollipop has brought few cool visualized UI but this time we are focusing so much on stability and usability improvements, which might not be eye catching and might not bring significant changes that people are waiting for.
At the conference, Google's David Burke(VP of Google's Engineering) outlined six major Android M features:
Google's David Burke used Whatsapp to give an example on How App Permissions are simplified? So if you want to record a voice message, Whatsapp will prompt you with a one-time request for permission to use your mic, if you still wanna give access and record the message you can, and don't need to give permissions all the time when you start recording a message. It is clear that their will be no requesting for permissions at the installation time, it Simply means "You don't have to agree to permissions that don't make you sense".However you can modify permissions granted to apps in Settings, or you can view permissions by their category and see which apps have that permission granted by you.
2.Web Experiences: Well Google is the best search engine ever and it has been updating time to time to provide users a better web experience. "Chrome Custom tabs is a new feature" that gives developers a new era to get through all the capabilities but their is no change in the look and feel of the experience.Chrome Custom Tabs will allow apps to open up a customized chrome windows on top of the active app,Instead of launching the chrome app separately. This will provide a faster navigation between apps and the web. Chrome Custom Tabs supports automatic sign-in,fill passwords and integration of apps for example Pinterest share button can be embedded to Chrome browser.
3.Fingerprint Sensors: The big news and the best one from Android M, Google has planned to bring fingerprint sensor to android. These sensors will allow you to unlock your device using your fingerprint and Bruke was talking about implementing fingerprint sensor for their app.
4.Android Pay: An app which will replace Google's Wallet so as to process mobile payment . Google is aiming to provide simplicity, security and choice with Android Pay, allowing you to use your existing credit cards to pay for more than 70,000 products in US.

Compatible with Android 4.4 and above devices, this app will be supported by American Express, Visa, Mastercard and discover, however you can pay your bills using your carriers AT&T, Verizon and T-mobile.
5.App Defaults/Links: When we happen to select some link and paste it on a web browser and when the link gets loaded we get familiar with a dialog box "Open With". Well certainly a good example could copying a YouTube video URL from Facebook and pasting it in web browser will automatically direct you to a "Open with dialog box". App links will be and are being changed in Android M so that Android will have a great idea about which apps can directly open the link, instead of stopping users with a dialog box.
6.Power And Battery Improvements: Google introduces Doze in Android M so as to improve device standby time. Well how does Doze actually work? Bruke says "Android will recognize when devices haven't been interacted by user for a while, for example when your device is kept on a table then the device automatically reduces its Background processes".

The Doze has already been tested, taking an Android M(Doze in it) device and Android Lollipop device the battery has been tested and the results are quote surprising Android M with Doze in it has two-times longer standby than a Android lollipop device. However Alarms or notify you of priority notifications will still be available in Doze mode.
7.The New App drawer: Well all the previous versions of Android allowed only horizontal scroll for all Android devices, but this time Google has Vertical Scrolls with white background, I can see a bit similarity with Nova Launcher. Across the top of your menu you will be able to see your four most recently used apps.
