Microsoft files a patent on Multi-OS Booting.
Recently Microsoft has filed a patent that could be the future. Microsoft has announced and filed a patent regarding Multi-Booting OS and this time its going on with Smart phones, Yup, you hauled it right, Microsoft is introducing Multi-Booting in smart phones.
Right Now, Microsoft is busy investing millions into its Windows Phone Venture, however their have been a build rumour about Microsoft quitting their sales on Windows Phone since, In a recent memo Satya Nadella CEO of Microsoft has filed disguised words on Windows Phone.

So as to combine multiple operating systems on a mobile device to provide different functionalities ,Microsoft has taken this step.
The above patent which is filed by Microsoft states that,
The user will be able to select the necessary OS to a particular task, i.e he/she can perform different tasks by different Operating Systems.What are the Advantages of Multi-Booting Smart phones ?
Well frankly a great advantage of Multi-booting your Phone is, it will give your phone an access to switch between different Operating Systems depending on the users need. Suppose your phone got switched Off and you need to make an emergency call or load your camera, then the device will boot just a part of an OS as per the user needs. So you will be able to call or take a picture from your multi-booted phone.
Additionally Microsoft added that, the parts of the operating system can be accessed via a Cloud or Downloaded from the web , they need to be stored on the device.
What could'be Microsoft's Future plans?
Well Microsoft could use this Multi-OS booting technology to run Android apps on Windows Phone devices. This multi-OS booting system can be turned into a tool that would enable Android developers to make Windows supported apps easily.
This technology also features the part-cloud booting option.
