Mortal Kombat X Gameplay:
When it comes to gameplay Similar to its previous versions of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat X consists of two players, or one and One CPU control. Fighting against each other with their selected character, using variant customisations and variant attacks. The energy meter was first introduced in the previous Mortal Kombat game, which when gets filled can be used as a special attack.

NetherRealm Studios previous game, Injustice: God Among US was Game of the year(Android) in which players can interact wit the environment, i,e players can actually use Environment as their Weapons, Players of Mortal Kombat X can also use environment as weapons, and this is the first time in Mortal Kombat series to use environment as a weapon.
In addition, each fighter of Mortal Kombat X have variety set of moves, which they can use during a fight, for example the character Scorpion features a Ninijutsu variation in which he wields dual swords, a Hellfire variation which relies more on fiery special moves, and an inferno variation which allows him to summon hellspawn minions to aid him in the fight. The sprint gauge, which was last seen in Mortal Kombat 4, returns in Mortal Kombat X.
Mortal Kombat X has two new types of finishing moves namely:
Quitality : Which will instantly kill player's character if they instantly quit during a multiplayer match.
Faction Kills: Finishing moves tied to each of the game's five factions.
Brutality finishing moves make a comeback, Brutalities now take the form of enhanced versions I mean they come into existence when the opponent is almost finished and meanwhile you need to keep the things going.
Game play modes include Story, 1 Vs 1 Ranked, King of the hill, Survivor and Test your luck. A new play mode has been added called Living Towers is an evolved form of Mortal Kombat's Challenge tower where the playing conditions will be changing every hour.
Another new mode is Faction Wars where the players has to choose any one of the faction war among the five factions namely Black Dragon, The Brotherhood Shadow, The Lin Kuei, Special Forces and White lotus, so as to compete with others online. Winning online persistent games with others will result a good personal rank and earning special rewards such as faction-specific finishing moves.
